Disney's Adventure Cruise Ship Will Have the Longest Roller Coaster at Sea, Adults-only Spaces, Themed Suites, and More

What we know so far about the Disney Adventure, the company’s first ship to sail out of Southeast Asia.

It’s full steam ahead for Disney Cruise Line as it’s experiencing an exciting period of rapid growth.

In a press release recently shared with Travel + Leisure, Disney has revealed details for the Disney Adventure, which will house the liner’s first ever roller coaster at sea and be the company’s first ship to sail out of Southeast Asia. In addition, Disney shared an exciting array of on-board activities, including adults-only and concierge level offerings.

The Disney Adventure is a first for the fleet in partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board. It will cruise three- and four-night sailings from its homeport of Singapore beginning Dec. 15, 2025. The new 208,000-gross-ton ship will carry an estimated passenger capacity of 6,000 and lead as one of the first in the cruise industry fueled by green methanol, the company shared.

Cruisers will discover seven uniquely themed areas inspired by beloved Disney films and characters from its over 100 years of storytelling, including Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios. The ship’s “adventure zone,” Marvel Landing, was designed with the thrill seeker in mind and will offer “Avengers-level adventures on three all-new attractions and experiences inspired by iconic Marvel Super Heroes.”

Ironcycle Test Run, the longest roller coaster at sea, will delight guests with 820-feet of track as they “test-drive Tony Stark’s latest Ironcycle prototype on a thrilling high-speed circuit and be suspended up to 30 feet above the upper decks.” Marvel Landing will also offer Groot Galaxy Spin, a flat ride set to an “awesome mix of upbeat music,” and Pym Quantum Racers, a thrilling racing car ride inspired by “Ant-Man and The Wasp.” Dining is a highlight aboard the cruise line and the new ship will feature a number of enticing options that tap into Asian and International cuisines. In addition to Disney’s signature rotational dining, guests will find an outpost of the cruise line favorite, Palo Trattoria, an upscale Italian eatery exclusively for adults. Other adults-focused spaces include Buccaneer Bar, Tiana’s Bayou Lounge, Pixar's “Luca”-themed sports bar, an alfresco café, and Spellbound, a “shadowy lounge” inspired by the Evil Queen from ”Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.”

The Disney Adventure will also feature a spa with private treatment rooms and a range of services, including acupuncture, facials, and massages. Those familiar with Disney Cruise Line will find its signature Rainforest area onboard as well, a unique experience combining water, steam, and heat therapy with aromatherapy.

Guests choosing concierge level accommodations will unwind with thoughtfully appointed, themed cabins and enjoy services that offer “the ultimate in luxury and personalized service.” Concierge passengers will also have access to exclusive spaces, including an “Aladdin”-themed lounge. For the ultimate splurge, there will be two “Frozen”-themed Concierge Royal Suites — the Elsa Royal Suite and the Anna Royal Suite — with each offering a living room, dining area, and large verandah with a private whirlpool.

Other on-board highlights include Broadway-style productions, a water park play land, and the Disney Imagination Garden, an enchanting open-air space.

Bookings for the Disney Adventure will open soon on Dec. 10, with voyage pricing set to be revealed on Nov. 14.Disney Cruise Line will be expanding its fleet with new ships in the coming years, including the upcoming Dec. 2024 debut of the Disney Treasure and next year’s Disney Destiny. The liner currently operates five ships that sail to the Caribbean, Northern Europe, Alaska, and other global destinations.
