As the model's beauty brand Rhode launches in the UK, Hailey Bieber reveals what else she swears by to achieve her signature aesthetic

Arguably one of the most influential celebrities in beauty today, Hailey Bieber's distinctly understated "natural glowy vibe" is one we all covet right now. "My personal beauty philosophy has really leaned into this ‘less is more’ approach," Bieber tells us in the exclusive video interview, above. "This minimalistic approach to skincare and even the way I dress – my fashion – has been really what has become my philosophy across all of those things."

It's this notion of doing more with less that underpins her beauty brand, Rhode, which Bieber has just brought to the UK. With the tagline ‘Welcome to your skincare closet’, her trio of elevated basics is designed to drench your skin in nourishment.

She starts "all over with the Peptide Glazing Fluid," explaining that she uses this as her hydration layer as well as, later, mixing it with make-up. "I definitely love incorporating skincare into make-up in different ways; I like when something feels like it can be multi-purpose," the model explains. She follows with her "cushiony" Barrier Restore Cream which is "a really good prep step for make-up".

Her love affair with moisturising is long-standing. "My mom and her mom were always very diligent about hydration in skincare," she says. "I feel like that kind of really stuck with me as I get older. I remember getting out of the bath and my mom really slathering me head-to-toe in lotion… So I’m diligent about my skincare and body care because of how diligent they were about theirs."

Bieber's show-and-tell of her beauty favourites also reveals the make-up she uses for her perfected skin look. There's the cult Nars Cosmetics Radiant Creamy Concealer, and the Chanel Les Beiges Foundation – which she sheers out with her Peptide Glazing Fluid. Next comes the Milk Makeup Lip + Cheek (she "can't live without a good cream blush"), the Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate Contour Duo, and the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder to "lock everything in".

For Bieber's brows – which she relatably regrets shaping too thin in her teenage years – she swears by the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Gel, noting how she's "used it for years". And on her lashes, she loves the Hourglass Unlocked Instant Extensions Mascara, which "makes them long and full". Her lip look, she reveals, comes courtesy of the Tower 28 Beauty OneLiner layered under the Rhode Peptide Lip Treatment.
