OL Reign, Megan Rapinoe dice up Angel City FC

Angel City FC surrendered three second-half goals in a 4-1 loss to OL Reign on Saturday in Seattle.

Megan Rapinoe became just the fifth player in NWSL history to record three assists in a match.

ACFC's Claire Emslie opened the scoring with a beautiful goal off a corner kick in the 27th minute.

Elyse Bennett evened the match seven minutes later before OL Reign (5-3-1, 16 points) exploded for three goals in the second half – two by Veronica Latsko and the first career score by Quinn.

The loss was Angel City FC's first on the road this season. Even worse, Jun Endo, who was moved from forward to fullback for this game, appeared to go down with an injury in the 53rd minute.

ACFC (2-4-3, nine points), which is now 0-2-1 on the season against OL Reign, next travels to Portland for an NWSL Challenge Cup match on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
