Beyoncé Looks So Radiant in This Rare Makeup

In her latest Instagram post, Beyoncé gave fans a rare behind-the-scenes look into her getting-ready process.

The new photo, which was shared today, shows the pop phenomenon sitting in front of a large vanity mirror. The Grammy winner appears laid-back and casual, with seemingly no makeup on, wearing a white romper with a plunging V-neckline and billowing bishop sleeves. The picture captures her holding a strand of her honey-brown curls and a thin curling wand.

Included in the same post is a photo of Beyoncé as a little girl sitting in a salon chair while getting her hair done.

"How many of ya’ll knew my first job was sweeping hair in my mama's salon?" the singer asked in a handwritten note at the end of the post. "Destiny's Child got our start by performing for clients while they were getting their hair done. I was exposed to so many different kinds of entrepreneurial women in her salon. I saw firsthand how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls. I watched her heal and be of service to so many women."

Beyoncé then hinted at an upcoming hair line venture. "Having learned so much on my hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy," she wrote. "I can't wait for you to experience what I’ve been creating."

The singer, who is in the midst of her Renaissance World Tour, talked about working at the salon in Harper's Bazaar's September 2021 cover story.

"There is power in community, and I saw that growing up the daughter of a salon owner," she said then. "My first introduction to beautiful women was curvy, Texas-bred, bean-and-cornbread-fed goddesses. I was exposed to so many entrepreneurial women that I admired. Doctors, business owners, artists, teachers, mothers—they all came through my mom's salon. I saw firsthand how a salon can be a sanctuary for women."
