Shoppers are raving over a $1.25 pumpkin-themed placemats from Dollar Tree that look strikingly similar to a pricier version sold at Pottery Barn.

They offer a budget-friendly alternative to the upmarket retailer's Bedford Harvest Cork placemats, which cost $48 for a set of four.

Dollar Tree has four designs - pumpkins, fall leaves, and messages such Give Thanks and Hello Fall. Getting a set of four works out at $42 less than Pottery Barn's.

The product description on Dollar Tree's website promises that these polyester placemats 'protect tables while adding a touch of excitement' to gatherings or everyday meals.

Customers have flooded the review section, with all but two people giving five stars.

'These are wonderful quality,' one shopper said. 'I bought the fall leaves design and love them.'

Another said: 'Very well made product. I am very pleased with my purchase - received many compliments.'

The placemats are just the latest bargain that shoppers are racing to buy at Dollar Tree.

Last week, a $5 Christmas tree decoration - which fans said had the cutest 'vintage look' - went viral.

But some some have warned that stock of the LED Lighted Ceramic Tree is running low at many stores, urging others to act fast before they're gone.

These 5x9-inch stoneware trees come in white, green, and gold, each adorned with colorful LED lights and topped with a star. They're available individually for $5 or in packs of eight for $40.

Budget-friendly holiday décor is enjoying a surge in popularity this year, as inflation and high interest rates force consumers to cut back seasonal spending.

Shoppers have taken to TikTok to showcase their festive finds, with Dollar Tree and other discount retailers seeing strong demand.

Aldi even had to restock one of its most popular Christmas items after it sold out after just two weeks.

Each year, the supermarket giant asks shoppers to vote for the items they most want to see return to its Aldi Finds section, known by fans as the 'aisle of shame'.

For 2024, the most votes in the Fan Favorites survey went to the festive Huntington Home Swedish Dish Cloth.

There are four versions, including one with a colorfully decorated Christmas tree topped with a red star on a cream background.
