If you tend to misplace your phone or you're constantly digging deep into your tote bag to find it, celebs might have found the solution. It comes in the form of the Bandolier Crossbody Phone Case. Over the years, stars including Martha Stewart, Madonna, Cindy Crawford, Reese Witherspoon, Blake Lively and Kaley Cuoco have been spotted wearing the brand's signature phone case, which has an adjustable strap so you can keep your hands free and your phone at the ready.
Bandolier makes crossbody phone cases in an array of colors. Stewart, 83, posted a selfie on Instagram with her Casey phone case in army green earlier this summer. Madonna, 66, opted for the simple black Hailey phone case while out and about in New York City in May after wrapping up her Celebration Tour. Crawford, 58, donned hers in a selfie showing off a new haircut last year. Cuoco, 38, posted a photo to Instagram with hers in a pregnancy announcement back in October 2022. And tons of celebs have been seen carrying theirs on city streets all over. Oprah even named it one of her favorite things back in 2021!
In addition to the long strap, Bandolier's phone cases also have a small wallet attached to the back. This makes them ideal for minimalists who want to leave the house completely hands-free. Of course, if you do end up tossing the case in your bigger handbag, you can take the strap off — the case at least makes it easier to find your phone and wallet at the same time.
You can snag Bandolier's simple Emma Crossbody Phone Case at Amazon for $98. Yes, it costs more than your average phone case, but it's leather, so it should last as long as you have your phone (and then some). It could also prevent you from losing your mobile device, which we all know is a very costly mistake. The Emma comes in black leather with silver, gold or pewter metal hardware. It sports one of the brand's skinniest leather straps and a small pocket for your ID and credit card on the back. Only iPhone-compatible sizes are available at Amazon, but you can shop for cases that fit certain Android phones on the brand's website.
Hundreds of Amazon shoppers give the case a five-star rating. "Elegant, handy and practical," said one impressed customer. "I love taking photographs with my iPhone. However, at functions, I was forever leaving it on one table or another. Now I can have it handy without detracting from my outfit. The leather and strap are elegant and expensive-looking. The case fits my iPhone 14 Pro, leaving the cameras always handy. I keep a few of my business cards and a $20 bill in the pouch. I love this item and wish I would have bought it much sooner."
Other shoppers say it's great for travel. One reviewer wrote: "I bought this crossbody cell phone case for my trip to Key West in July. We like to ride bikes everywhere and walk a lot and I didn't wanna have to carry my purse everywhere. Also, when you're riding a bike and you want to stop and take a picture real quick, it's very convenient."
Another shopper gushed that their case has held up well, even after using every day for a year. "I love not having to carry a wallet, and it's so understated with the design/look that you can literally wear it with anything," they said. "I've had it on my phone for a year and it still doesn't have a scratch on it and the leather hasn't stretched out from where the cards go."
"Definitely convenient to have when you don't want to carry a big bulky purse," said a final fan. "Problem is it only holds three cards max (technically should only be two) so choose well. The price is a little higher than I normally buy for a phone case, but since it's kind of a two in one, I figured it's worth it. Oh, and the quality is great."
Bandolier's Hailey Crossbody Phone Case is $10 more from Amazon.
